| Membrane Technology is and one among five Companies
in the World, to manufacture industrial scale Capillary Ultra filtration
hollow fiber membrane modules and systems. It offers competitive solution
for Wastewater treatment, Water recycling, Brackish water or City
water purification and Sea water purification, to meet international
standards. |
| A membrane system consists of membrane modules and
accessories such as pumps, piping and controls. Membrane Technology
manufactures the membrane systems in its world class manufacturing
facilities located in Vandalur, Chennai, India. |
| The traditional chemical approach to water treatment
is to use a combination of various treatment steps by adding a variety
of chemicals to remove the impurities. This results in the pollution
of the environment with the generation of sludge, wash waters and
polluted discharges. Hence, it is necessary to treat the water and
disinfect the treated water to ensure that it is free of microbes
and pathogens. However, there are several problems associated with
the traditional approach to water treatment. |
| The product quality fluctuates
along with variations in feed quality, often leading to instability
in the downstream processing. Hence, the processing becomes inefficient. |
| Purchase, transport and monitoring the addition of
chemicals is complicated |
| Requirement of a large floor area often with expensive
civil constructions. |
|
Scaling up capacity or expansion is complicated
in the conventional systems.
|
| Our group, which is dedicated to the issues of global
importance, has ventured into membrane technology, which is the effective
way to reduce, recover and re-use of wastewater, by avoiding/ minimizing
the use of chemicals. |
| In recent years membrane technology has been used
to solve some of the problem experienced with the traditional water
treatment process. Superior performance of this technology is now
well established in many industrialized countries. |
| Membrane technology includes a wide variety of processes
that can remove impurities ranging from suspended solids to dissolved
salts (e.g. Sea Water Desalination). |
|
|
|
|
| Total elimination of conventional chemical process
with Eco-friendly and cost effective Membrane Seperation Technology
by R3 Process. |
|
|
|
|
| Membrane Technology has supplied membrane systems
to Europe, USA, Australia and South Africa. The performance of our
membranes has won all-round recognition and appreciation. Membrane
Technology has received commendation on th performance of out pilot
that working at end of the largest refineries in India. |
